The Integrative Health Institute conference promotes knowledge translation and networking for health care providers, academics, learners, health administrators, and other key stakeholders. The conference themes in 2016 were: 1) Bending the cost curve - promoting effective self-care in chronic disease, 2) Learner wellness – looking at the role of mindfulness on learners, health care providers and patient outcomes. 3) Promoting health in Aboriginal and First Nations communities and looking at the role of traditional approaches to health and wellness.
