S.R. Jim Thesis Appendix B - Numerical Analysis Scripts

Abstract

Description

This archive collects programming scripts used in the analysis of data presented in the thesis: S.R. Jim, Nanoengineered Glancing Angle Deposition Thin Films for Ultrathin-Layer Chromatography, PhD Thesis, University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada) (2014). The first two unedited scripts were used to extract chromatograms from images of developed planar chromatography (TLC, thin-layer chromatography; and UTLC, ultrathin-layer chromatography) media. Images of separated coloured dye spots are used by the scripts to produce quantitative (colour-filtered) chromatograms. The third script was used to process data collected by scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). *** See enclosed README for tips on the installation and use of this software package.
