In January 2010, the Edmonton Japanese Community Association (EJCA) established a small history project committee to gather information about the historical Japanese influence in Edmonton and area. This report summarizes the project as of June 2014, provides some highlights, and lists the materials collected and organised during the project for the benefit of future researchers. Contents: 1 Project Scope. 2 Interviews. 3 Life of Japanese Canadians in Edmonton. 4 Japanese-Canadians around Edmonton in pre-war days. 5 Edmonton Japanese-Canadian residents chart, 1912-1970. 6. Name list - Post-war new immigrants. 7 Event chart. 8 Community groups. 9 Material collections. 10 Picture collections. Note: the report refers to Appendix A-F but these are available separately.
