Description
Cloud storage is a method of data storage in which digital data is hosted, managed and backed up remotely and this stored data can be accessed by authorized users over a network, thereby providing storage as a service to users (Coyne, Shivaramakrishnan, & Sing, 2014). This stored digital data is managed by a hosting company who is in charge of ensuring the data is available when needed, it is easily accessible and also protected from unauthorized persons.
