dc.descriptionThis recommendation document has been developed by the RDC Metrics Group (RMG) as part of a task laid out during the 2014 Digital Infrastructure Leadership Council summit. The overall goal of the RMG was to report on ways of evaluating research data management plans (DMPs) in order to encourage a culture of digital scholarly stewardship. In order to accomplish this, the group conducted a survey of best practices on how data management plans can be prepared and evaluated, while exploring how stewardship can be encouraged, including ways that it can be recognized academically so as to change the culture of research data management.
