Abstract
Description
The Strategy for Patient Oriented Research (SPOR) is a CIHR initiative that integrates funding, research and health care. SPOR is also a coalition of federal, provincial, and territorial partners comprised of SUpport for People and Patient-Oriented Research and Trials (SUPPORT) Units and Networks. The SPOR SUPPORT Units are specialized, multidisciplinary research service centres to be located across Canada working with provincial or territorial health services in supporting the use of research evidence in decision-making and inform best practices. This session discussed the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit.
