Presentation at the Canadian Association of Law Libraries conference in Edmonton, Alberta, 2019. Abstract: Section 12 of the Copyright Act is at odds with the aims of Open Government. This talk will review how Crown copyright creates unnecessary barriers to the re-use of government information and provide an update on advocacy work to change the status quo.
