dc.description	Document consists of extracted one page summaries from several successful Insight grant applications, ranging from 2011 to 2018. The collection demonstrates a variety of subject disciplines, different writing styles, but also the common characteristics of any summary. The SSHRC summary page is restricted to 3800 characters (including punctuation), and is the only aspect of a grant application that all of the selection committee members are likely to read. The summary is thus important and requires careful attention to detail to do well. The summaries are collated and organized reverse-chronologically (beginning with the most recent).
