Description
Rapid urbanization, the population density and the increase in the consumption demand are required to be effectively managed to meet the necessity of the era. The conception of a smart city is a participatory and sustainable vision of urban development aimed at building an effective city administration and maximizing the quality of life by using information, transmission technologies so that public needs can be met by the needs of the times. The smart city system envisages a broad partnership between administrations, the private sector, and citizens. It also aims to establish a stable and harmonious relationship to increase economic competitiveness and productivity. (As cited in abstract.)
