Abstract
Description
The advent of the internet and the World Wide Web has made vast amounts of information accessible at our fingertips. It is said that an average person living in the modern society is exposed to as much information in a day as a person who lived 100 years ago would have seen in a whole year. But how do we search and find what we want from this giant heap of information dumps? Search engines have solved this problem for us. Numerous search engines such as Yahoo, AltaVista, MSN and Google were created over the years to access the billions of information on the internet effectively. Some failed to keep up, while the others have grown exponentially in terms of its collection of data and effectiveness in providing the best answers to
our questions. (As cited in abstract.)
