Abstract
Description
A series of pyridine-functionalized poly (N-isopropylacrylamide)- based microgels were synthesized. Subsequently, a structured photonic device was fabricated by sandwiching the microgels between two thin Au layers, and their response to CO2 investigated. We show that devices show an optical response to CO2, which is reversible over many cycles.
